About
Prof. Dr. Antonio Cabral is Professor of Civil Procedure and General Theory of Procedural Law at the Rio de Janeiro State University, with tenure obtained by public contest in 2006. Former Federal Judge and Public Defender, currently is a Federal Prosecutor working with class actions and criminal prosecution in the fields of Financial and Tax Fraud, Insider Trading and other federal offenses.
Author of "Nulidades no processo moderno" (Nullities in modern procedural law, 2009) and of several articles published within the fields of Procedural Law and Public Law.
During the years of 2010-2011 received a scholarship from the German Academic Interchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), for a research period in Germany in 2010-2011, at the University of Munich (Ludwig-Maximilians Universität) about normative and procedural stability (claim preclusion, issue preclusion), systemic continuity, procedural stabilities breach and burden of argumentation.
